Herb Blend: French Dipping Oil
 
Dipping oil herb blend.
 
This wonderful dipping herb blend can also be used to create a lovely salad dress (see below)

To Use: Add 1-2 tablespoons of blend to 4 oz good quality olive oil. Warm the oil first for optimal blending. Steep for at least a few hours. This blend doesn't have salt, garlic or onions. If desired, add up to 1/2 tsp of salt, and one tsp each of garlic and onion granules.
 
Allergy option: If you're allergic to allums, try adding 1 tsp of asafoetida to the blend in place of garlic and onion. Adds the earthy flavor with no allergy issues!
 
To make a lovely salad dressing: Once the oil is steeped, add 1/4 to 1/3 cup of champagne or white wine vinegar.
