Perform the spell during a waxing moon - building up to the full moon. Or on the full moon. 
FOCUS! Spend the time to really focus on your intention and visualize yourself getting the money you need.
Aim for a specific amount you need, rather than "winning the lottery". The latter has a lot of competition out in the universe. Start small and build up!
