Rope incense is amazing! It is made mostly in Tibet, by rolling finely ground herbs in delicate rice paper. The roll is twisted together, and when burned it smells wonderful!
 
There are very few options for rope incense burners however, so most people simply allow the rope to smolder on an ash tray or on a cone incense burner. Marcel to the rescue! This burner allows you to burn rope incense and lets the ash drop straight down into a waiting dish or plate.
 
The burner is available alone, or with the green onyx bowl pictured above to use as an ash catcher. Alternately, you can use any saucer or other bowl as an ash catcher.
 
Made of 100% brass, and optionally, green onyx.
