Like the style used in old movies, this little charmer has the finger hole to hold it by when heading off to bed. In the current century, we advise you turn the lights on for moving around, and save the candles for ambience while staying put!
 
Holds small tapers, can hold chime candles if you melt a little wax as an anchor first.  Larger tapers would be unstable in this as it is too small.
 
I use this holder for hand-rolled beeswax ritual tapers like the ones from the Witch's Root box (shorter size). I use one to hold the candle while I maintain my focus on the spell. It works perfectly!
